Hot on the heels of the alligator situation, I feel I need to reveal the joke that I, personally, continue to find unreasonably hilarious after many years.  Like a true devotee, I even think it encodes some kind of deep wisdom about life:

I’m allergic to cotton.

I have pills for it, but I can’t get them out of the bottle.

The cotton in pill bottles always mystifies me. Why is it there???
